Alessandra Corine Ambrosio born April 11, 1981 is a Brazilian model.Her last name is spelled Ambrosio, but the diacritic mark is omitted in her modeling work. Ambrosio, described by Tyra Banks as The future of the modeling world, is best known for her work with Victoria's Secret and was chosen as their first spokesmodel for Victoria's Secret PINK line.Ambrosio is currently one of Victoria's Secret Angels and the former face for the UK company Next. Aside from modeling work, Ambrosio represents as the National Ambassador for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Ambrosio was also selected by AskMen.com as Number 2 out of the Top 99 Most Desirable Women of 2008.

  Taking a break from her always-busy modeling schedule, Alessandra Ambrosio set off on a family vacation in Waikiki, Hawaii over the weekend. The Victoria's Secret beauty joined husband Jamie Mazur and daughter Anja on the Aloha State getaway - with the trio spotted keeping themselves busy in the scenic locale on Saturday (August 6). During the course of the afternoon, Alessandra and Jamie did a little shopping while also hitting the beach - at which point Miss Ambrosio tossed on a wetsuit while hitting the Pacific waters for a little surfing action. Tweeting about the fun-filled outing, the 30-year-old wrote, "Aloha!!!! Surf's up!!!" Clearly thrilled with her bout at riding the waves, Ambrosio later tweeted, "Yeahhhhhhh Surfing in waikiki is just amazing!"                   |
