Alessandra Corine Ambrosio born April 11, 1981 is a Brazilian model.Her last name is spelled Ambrosio, but the diacritic mark is omitted in her modeling work. Ambrosio, described by Tyra Banks as The future of the modeling world, is best known for her work with Victoria's Secret and was chosen as their first spokesmodel for Victoria's Secret PINK line.Ambrosio is currently one of Victoria's Secret Angels and the former face for the UK company Next. Aside from modeling work, Ambrosio represents as the National Ambassador for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Ambrosio was also selected by AskMen.com as Number 2 out of the Top 99 Most Desirable Women of 2008.

The Victoria's Secret Angel looked goth-chic in a black long-sleeved top, fuzzy black vest, matching leather pants, and pointy boots as she smiled at photographers. On Thursday, the Brazilian model was in the Big Apple to prepare for the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Teasing her loyal Twitter followers, she tweeted, "Doing my fitting @VictoriasSecret and sorry guys I'm not about to show u what I'm wearing."

Looking to stock up on some delicious goodies, the Brazilian hottie looked cool and casual as she strolled into the market while texting on her mobile phone. Alessandra has been all over the western hemisphere as of late, having spent time at Sao Paulo, Brazil’s Fashion Week earlier this week. Ms. Ambrosio also paid a visit to New York City following the onslaught of Hurricane Sandy to check on her Big Apple peeps.

The Victoria’s Secret stunner looked chic upon landing, in grey leggings, a brimmed hat, and a navy jacket, as she rolled her luggage out to an awaiting vehicle. Upon flying in, Alessandra tweeted a photo of the Big Apple, which showed a surprisingly calm outline of water on the outskirts of Manhattan, something the east coast has been longing for since the earlier arrival of Hurricane Sandy. As previously reported by GossipCenter, Miss Ambrosio just flew back to the states after visiting her hometown of Brazil, where she took part in Sao Paulo Fashion Week.
