Alessandra Corine Ambrosio born April 11, 1981 is a Brazilian model.Her last name is spelled Ambrosio, but the diacritic mark is omitted in her modeling work. Ambrosio, described by Tyra Banks as The future of the modeling world, is best known for her work with Victoria's Secret and was chosen as their first spokesmodel for Victoria's Secret PINK line.Ambrosio is currently one of Victoria's Secret Angels and the former face for the UK company Next. Aside from modeling work, Ambrosio represents as the National Ambassador for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Ambrosio was also selected by AskMen.com as Number 2 out of the Top 99 Most Desirable Women of 2008.

Then running a few errands around town, the Victoria's Secret beauty kept her baby bump hidden with a loose workout top and tights before switching into a red dress as she and a gal pal went shopping at Waterworks. Meanwhile, if two children won't keep the 30-year-old busy enough, then designing a shoe collection will sure help make for a full schedule. Ambrosio recently started creating shoes for the Melissa Loves collection and it might be something she's looking to do after she retires from her modeling career. “I thought about something that represented my style. I only wear what I love,” she told Vogue. “I decided to take part in the project because I was looking for something beyond the modeling career. I think the creative process fascinating, and I have to tell you that I was willing to get involved and create something with my name, my brand.” So far, the supermodel has designed two styles with one being a retro looking pump called "Incense Glitter" and the other is a ballet flat named "Divine".       |
