Alessandra Corine Ambrosio born April 11, 1981 is a Brazilian model.Her last name is spelled Ambrosio, but the diacritic mark is omitted in her modeling work. Ambrosio, described by Tyra Banks as The future of the modeling world, is best known for her work with Victoria's Secret and was chosen as their first spokesmodel for Victoria's Secret PINK line.Ambrosio is currently one of Victoria's Secret Angels and the former face for the UK company Next. Aside from modeling work, Ambrosio represents as the National Ambassador for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Ambrosio was also selected by AskMen.com as Number 2 out of the Top 99 Most Desirable Women of 2008.

Her sixth month mark is fast approaching, so pregnant Alessandra Ambrosio is making sure that if she is eating for two, she is giving her baby the best nutrients possible. The Victoria’s Secret model, 30, was spotted sipping a green smoothie that looked decidedly healthy as she stepped out in Brentwood, California, today. She carried the nutritious concoction while showing off her baby bump as she made her way back to her car. The Brazilian beauty appeared as though she may have been enjoying a spot of gentle exercise as she was sporting what looked like workout wear. She wore a peach-coloured tank top that clung to her figure just enough to show off her blossoming bump. The star also wore knee-length leggings, brown ballet pumps, and had a grey jumper tied around her waist. The model scraped her brunette locks into a bun and covered her glowing, make-up free face with a pair of large aviator sunglasses. As well as carrying her vitamin-rich drink, Alessandra rested a black leather handbag on her forearm while negotiating both a Blackberry and an iPhone in one hand. Alessandra is expected to give birth to her second child with businessman Jamie Mazur in May. The couple already have a three-year-old daughter together, Anja. The pair began dating in 2005 and have been engaged since 2008. They announced that they were expecting a new addition to their brood two days after Christmas.    |
